The 18z ICON looks almost exactly the same, you could argue it looks a tick better, but not by much.

So full blown winter storm for the entire southeast. Got it.
Yeah the sfc response was better but it’s so warm at the surface, Temps in the 40s
To me this look has potential still! At least for areas farther west.

Angle of cold here is a hard pass for me. Holding out for the -NAO/-AO combo that’s on the way. Lock it in.

Icon looks really good IMO especially taking into account how awful it is with temps. Way too warm
I'd still rather see more separation. That wave connection leads to low pressure to the north, which validifies the warm temps. Get it separated, and you'll see high pressure building in, and snow.

It usually runs as much as 5 - 8 degrees too warm at the surface a lot of the times.

Yeah it has a big time warm bias at the surface
Slow and steady, don’t know about East of the mountains but west id watch 
It’s something. Better then nothing.

Do like the trend at H5, even tho there mainly baby steps per run 
That tilt just won’t get it done for much people here, it’ll be interesting to see what the 18z gefs shows as its looked better the last 3 runs

GFS keeps creeping that precip north each run out of the gulf.
