If we could just inch that high pressure dome over Greenland we could pop lower heights where we are .. otherwise we remain maybe slightly above normal but really just average give or take a few degrees

Looks like what May is suppose to be in the central US, might have a second opportunity if that look holds

I'd take that pattern as a W tbh. We'd actually have some weather going on

If the euro was correct we’d probably have several days with marginal severe wx threats (hail) given the cold air aloft in closer proximity to the upper level low and steeper mid level lapse rates

Met. Autumn started on 9/1 and Atlanta's current average high/low is 80*F/61*F.

Yeah but avg low outside the city is probably closer to 55.

How did the forecast go from warm sunny pleasant to cloudy muggy . Shoot . All I want is sunshine and warmth . Also those wishing for severe … won’t happen . We get like 1 severe event a year . The other 200 never pan out .

Can’t help be be a tad bit nervous seeing this look be so persistent which is super consistent with a La Niña, but then again last November we had record breaking warmth with this exact H5 pattern then switched in December to HLB and average conditions
