October Odyssey

Hail machine go brrrrr, this could change if gfs is being to progressive, but this has hail setup written all over it with long straight Hodographs/solid deep layer shear, good advection of steep mid level lapse rates and cool 500mb temps 3D77058A-D266-47FE-8CE6-885D71A5F891.pngE2407FA7-5DAA-4672-841E-E78AB42BACF6.png7DD084F3-F7B8-4925-8D19-24D6421F04CC.pngB300A465-B3E7-4691-9FD0-51DE03E62610.jpeg761DA2EF-A2E2-4C86-930E-40E839A14A94.png

So far this October the highest temp has been 84, last Oct, 100... In Knoxville, the highest this Oct, 80, last Oct, 96. We might get close to 84 this week before the cooler air gets here. Hopefully the last 80s until March/April.

^^Yeah, I'm hoping Halloween is cool and dry. If the front comes through as currently shown on the models we should be good.

Id just like some interesting weather to be honest. I guess the wedge on Sunday is worth getting excited about

It's hard to sit here and watch our age old tale of Day 10 cold fronts dissapear by day 7, while @BufordWX and @Brent have to keep changing their underwear.

With that said, I hope you two boys score! We're living vicariously through you two right now.
