Lol CMC is a rain cold cold rain setup, wish we could get this look during the middle of Jan (better defined and slightly slower SW ofc) A65D6DEB-CFFF-405A-A0DA-EAF3F84CA32D.png

That would be real problematic, fast speed, lift ahead of trough keeping it strong, recipe for wind damage inland if it does indeed become like what the icon shows, East side would also get a pretty nasty severe threat, last nights icon had 90+kts of 850mb winds over the Carolinas as it interacted with the trough

All the way down to 60 this morning; better get out the heavy coats, Fall is here baby!

It’s not bad at all, I honesty don’t see the point of dry <55 degree days, messes with my sinuses, makes my lips super chapped, turns my nose into a brick wall or a running hose, warmer temps around the upper 70s/low 80s and lows in the upper 50s/low 60s is some of the best fall weather imo, not wedgetastic cool 50 or 40 degree days or dry <50 degree days

We will be lucky if this thing gets here before Election Day.

Sadly. Nam12k has a classic low 60s wedge with full cloud cover for the Upstate. However, GSP did actually mention this wedge in the AFD this morning.
edit: Also upon further inspection, GFS actually keeps me wedged Sunday and Monday, with monday's being stronger (cooler)

12k much more aggressive on the monday CAD

Yep NAM has a little precip and really drives the ridge axis into the wedge regions then pinches it off over the Carolinas, a good recipe for a longer duration CAD event that would have to be eroded top down.
