Latest updates from Henderson County, NC, Forest Service on Poplar Drive brush fire
A large brush fire continues to burn in Henderson County, North Carolina.www.wyff4.com
Fires getting underway now. Multiple fires in the mountains with no rain in sight. Watch out if we get a really windy day up there and maybe more of the area as well.
That happens in November , what’s so weird? So over a week in the 70s, what a joke...
This chance may work out. It is within 8 days now and hopefully models do not lose it or move it north. Areas south of I-20 have to wait longer for rain and there is not much room for error farther north.Rain chances are possible next weekend for that area, hopefully that will help some
Too warm.So over a week in the 70s, what a joke...
It's a crime against nature.That happens in November , what’s so weird?

We came from Americanwx and started this site back in 2016. Some of us still post over there,Random, but do any of you guys post at Americanwx? I go there a lot to the Mid-Atlantic forum for the Winter. Its home, and i love the posting when they're tracking some big storms...LOL

DCA itself is nothing like the rest of the metro re climate. There's a huge difference between the DC suburbs and Atlanta.DC, is not the great white north, either. Atl has altitude, DC does not.

That sounds so late.Is it possible some of us go the rest of the month without a freeze ? If AccuWeather is right, Atlanta's 1st freeze will be on December 20th.
First all we all know that every where in Atlanta metro except for the Airport has had a freeze. Secondly, are really looking at the 60 day forecast Accuweather puts out?Is it possible some of us go the rest of the month without a freeze ? If AccuWeather is right, Atlanta's 1st freeze will be on December 20th.

Things have to change sooner or later. It's kinda surreal out little rain we've had the last several months. Just before that we had strong storms every other week for a couple months on end.We still suck

Not that I put much stock in the GFS after 4 or 5 days, the 18z actually ends up the wettest overall run for the SE than we’ve seen in some time. It actually lined up pretty well with both the 12z GEFS and EPS.
Cmon nowI won't be shocked if we get zero rain out of this. Extreme drought here we come!
