Yeah I just looked at the plumes and I'm a little disappointed. Looks like a cold/dry warm/wet split for those of us outside of the mountains. As a whole though the plumes are chaos with 30-40 degree spreads on highs and 60-70 degree spreads on dews.

Still looks like it would be fairly transient, but certainly something could time up to get something… obviously the mountains and the mid-Atlantic would be favored.

Amazing agreement from all 3 suites of ens heading in to Turkey day. SD spot on with the euro 500mb. GFS 500mb isn't to far off either. Canadian just cold, no SW energy coming across in the SS. But cold. It will be interesting to See if all 3 are having a hiccup party or on to something.

Yeah… the end of the run, take with a huge mountain of salt, is not far off giving the Piedmont areas of VA,NC, and SC a paste bomb.

I think we’re starting to see signs of what we’re gonna see most of winter. A lot of coastal lows which is what we want. Just gotta get them to line up with some cold.

If the mjo can stay out of phases 4-6, we should be ok moving forward. It's rather difficult to see winter weather outside the mountains this time of year and hopefully this colder pattern is reoccurring this winter
