Interesting, each model has this low in varying forms moving west during this time frame ?

Look I know it’s a 384 hour gfs image which means it has 0% chance of happening…. However we are thinking this could be getting around the timeframe for the switch, which many have talked about. (Talk about an impressive amount of blocking)
Pattern persistence on 12z GFS. Even some late September weather on the horizon. Cool air eventually comes over the top and CAD bleeds out the warmth. Who knows though.

Pgv ended up with 1.80 yesterday from largely unexpected storms.
Thought the GFS was completely off it's rocker the other day but again, all models showing some form of retrograding low end of next week, could be a decent rain maker for SE. If it occurs might get some interaction with incoming trough too have to see how all that plays out
I sure would love to see that cold frontal passage next Friday night or early Saturday morning

Cause at least it will feel nice and cool like fall instead of warm and muggy like spring! It doesn't have to snow for one to enjoy cool/cold!
