Heck, might as well try and bring the cold vibes! Have at it folks
Anyways, its going to be 32℉ on November 1st, and its going to be rainy at the headquarters. Bring it on!Heck, might as well try and bring the cold vibes! Have at it folks
I thought about naming it neutral or normal as well lolI could go for "Normal November" myself...actually thought about starting the monthly thread with that name...yeah I know boring :} but it would mean some nice weather for all of us.
Maybe I'll see if I have some juju later on when we're actually in winter. We'll see how I feel.
Why talk about the weather if you can't be positive
I hope we get into one of these 300 hrs patterns again one day.Why talk about the weather if you can't be positive

@Rain Cold would help you if it is appropriate. PM the mod and let the mod know if they would like it.I started to post a pic that goes along with the title of the thread, but I don't know if the mods would approve...![]()
Facts. I would say FWIW the cool fall air is finally moving closer to day 5 instead of being push back.Fall just around the corner...though I feel like I have posted that a couple of times over the past few weeks.

At least this year it ended on October 4 instead of October 11.Deeper Fall anyway. No one, except maybe Central Florida and south, can say Fall hasn't presented itself after that horrid, extended Summer hell into Week one of October.
There was a larger shift in the 0Z with the trough eastward. Perhaps the SER won't be setting up as close now? I feel like we just saw this happen where the EPS was too SER happy.I'm surprised at how much colder the 12z Euro was.
Actually need some SER to keep us in the rain for a few months. There was a larger shift in the 0Z with the trough eastward. Perhaps the SER won't be setting up as close now? I feel like we just saw this happen where the EPS was too SER happy.

GFS, even though it has been terrible with the timing of this front, is really starting to speed it up now. Hopefully this continues. Euro sped it up a tad also.
Makes sense, something to definitely watch for sure. Those are pretty large shifts also, so I wouldn't be surprised if it at least evens out in the coming runs.Odds are that the GFS will trend back slower with the cold front soon. When an often too progressive/cold biased model goes faster with a cold front 5 runs in a row, it is going to be kind of hard for it not to come back slower at some point within the subsequent few runs. Let’s see what happens. It may or may not be slower with the next run or two, but I’d bet it will by 0Z tonight.
This sucks. Give me all the rain to recharge the water table for springI'm actually good with this, we don't need the rain in eastern NC as bad as the rest of you so hopefully this verifies

Good call, GFS did indeed slow the front back down. Was hoping the trend would continue.Odds are that the GFS will trend back slower with the cold front soon. If this were not a model with tendencies to be too progressive, I wouldn’t have posted this.
Slightly...anyway splitting hairs here.Good call, GFS did indeed slow the front back down. Was hoping the trend would continue.
Not sure if you meant to type that out loud, but I'm pretty sure the Lord knows how to crop.Learn how to crop already Jesus
Yeh not much, but noticeable. Hopefully it doesn't keep moonwalking backwards now.Slightly...anyway splitting hairs here.
