Dewpoints in the 70s in Mid November is beyond ridiculous. Has that ever happened before ?Yep, I'm still looking for comfort over anything else. Next Wednesday (11th) will showcase dewpoints at or above 70 for many of us eastern (SE) folks. Not comfortable.....

I've actually seen lows near 70 in December before; rare, but it's happened. Of course those set-ups open the door for tornadoes.Probably
The ocean temps to the south and south/east of us are still really warm. All we have to do is get the wind to blow from that direction and we can still get a summer type (warm/humid) airmass. With the sun angle very low now, highs will probably not get too high; but lows will be bad. No lower than the dew point.Dewpoints in the 70s in Mid November is beyond ridiculous. I'm enjoying being able to wear shorts outdoors, TBH.This current weather is literally so perfect, headed to high rock lake for some warm fall fishing ! Literally the perfect weather to do things outside, don’t understand why anyone would complain about it, it’s only November
I'd agree with you if it was anytime b/w April 1 and October 1. For November... BRING THE COLD, BRING ON FALL!!!?This current weather is literally so perfect, headed to high rock lake for some warm fall fishing ! How many inches of snow we talkin ?Massive N Pacific jet extension late next week definitely offers us the potential for a momentary reprieve from the SE US ridge in mid-November & perhaps a freeze for a large proportion of this board.

Unfortunately he will be in Georgia most of the winter.Buford, I think you will see your share of ice storms this winter. Congrats. Just send some over to Arkansas ?
Im actually going to be in Georgia in about 2 weeks and won’t be back in Oklahoma until late January. I’m hoping to see more snow then ice in the future. I’ve had my fair share of ice for one winter. Wishing you luck in Arkansas though.Buford, I think you will see your share of ice storms this winter. Congrats. Just send some over to Arkansas ?

He is just a kid. He is homesick and misses his family. But yeah in terms of weather you obviously would rather be in OK than GA in the winter, if you like snow or ice.He should reconsider imo

School stuff after thanksgiving is all online and then winter break goes until late January. While it may be a smaller chance of seeing snow back in Georgia, I know it isn’t impossible. I would rather see a snowstorm back in Georgia then In Oklahoma. It would be more special to me. Even if Georgia fails at snow I still got a whole February and part of March in Oklahoma for snow and I know they can still get big storms then. How come? Is it winter break for yall? That ice storm was in fall ??
I miss those southern snowstorms that starts from Texas straight east.
The snowstorms from Texas northeastward to Ohio is more common.I miss those southern snowstorms that starts from Texas straight east.

I was born in July 2000! I think the high was 86 degrees in Charlotte the day I was born . Cool summer that year .Not to stray into the global warming arena but let me make an observation. I've been in my job for 20 years. I Hired in on July 1pth 2000. I work in a very large warehousing environment with no air conditioning of any kind.
The first 10 years I worked I remember being in long sleeves and jackets by the beginning of November. As the years have progressed that is no longer the case. I havent even broke out a long sleeve shirt yet.
