Pattern Muddy March 2021

It’s interesting because for the aft stuff you would think that’s not a impressive sounding, but I’ve seen supercells with this sort of environment before, esp along a boundary with impressive critical angles and 3km shear
Makes me wonder if we squeeze out a Low precipitation supercell/structured one with this look given ventilation aloft and inverted Vs and backed flow in low levels 7CC26180-F54D-4345-9BB5-7E340607EE10.png

I think that may be what's happening here
Sounding definitely supports strong downdrafts given steep low level lapse rates, interesting Hodograph E5BD72FB-346A-4AB7-A78C-9258AF0865EF.png
What we’re seeing in N AL is probably a good example of what the hrrr is trying to show 0B81B2C9-3BF3-4B41-B1F9-C7094F0EAB2B.png

Surprised that GSP only has 30% POPs today given that line in AL/GA. We're about to destabilize in a little while as well after this first band of rain moves north. Also, kind of surprised that SPC doesn't have the mrgl area a little more east based on current modeling.

Looks like the HRW-FV3 (which is very similar to the HRRR) fires up supercells Saturday evening across NC/SC
