May be?

I wonder how long this cooler weather pattern ends up lasting. It keeps this up for a few more months, it could be a summer 2009 redux. As rare as it is, it probably will happen again eventually.

Or, worse, a Summer 1992 redux.

Maybe just maybe the lockdown is causing pollution to go down and maybe thats helping to cool our climate ?

Or maybe because the virus spreads more easily in cooler wx and it is so powerful, it is controlling the wx and causing it to cool down for its own survival. What can't this virus do?

The real kicker here is those folks who think hot weather will slow the virus' spread aren't going to be able to make their case any time soon.

If anything, this roller coaster pattern we've been in likely exacerbates things if COVID-19 is anything like other viruses.

From the way it sounds in here, if we don't turn the A/C on sometime in the Sunday-Tuesday period, we're unlikely to for quite a while. Very unusual as we usually have it on by now.

Im all for the cooler weather put the prospects of 30s in mid May is just about as exciting as 100 in October.
The persistent chilly 35 mph winds in this neck of the woods hasn't made for good hanging out and grilling on the deck. Maybe in June?
