Yeah the Euro and the GFS did what I expected, which is converge closer with the Euro jumping significantly west and north. Very tight cluster I believe now.
Yeah that track would be problematic for SE Alabama , southern Georgia and eastern N and S Carolina

Looking at the location, the difference on FV3 is as has been noted the speed which allows it to get farther north before the big east turn. Landfall is about the same.
These are max wind gust thru 84, I know the usual caveats to this map but it will be a very quick moving system. Hazel did damage all the way to Canada, yes stronger system but it was rocketing inland.

That was a nasty run.
One thing I want to see is if the EPS shows more solutions like the FV3.

Colder convection is firing in the NE and SW parts of the storm now. Maybe this will lead to a better organized center and eye.

Places like Columbia, Charlotte, Macon could all see gusts over Hurricane Force, with the track consenus Power Outages will be a big issue even far inland.
Maybe possible in Macon. I don’t see hurricane force wind gusts in north or South Carolina
based on NHC track its won't be unlikely to see hurricane gust in SC because of the future fast forward speed.
Also depending on how strong it get could depend on future inland effects.
