The 12z UKMET plowed into Myrtle Beach as a 950 hPa category 3 hurricane, this would wreak havoc across upstate SC and NC.

HWRF seems to be coming in very far south and is probably the furthest south now. Passing very close to the Northern Bahamas.
That would seem like a Floyd type track where it passes very close to Florida and then scoots up the coast.
Good to see the OTS possibility going up again though.

However the run just finished and it's headed more towards Jacksonville or Brunswick.

This Euro run looks like it'll hit north of Charleston, SC if anywhere.
Yeah, early on in the run it's coming in a hair North and a lot stronger this run. Ugh.

I'm sure the data from the flight that just wrapped up is being used this run. Next plane is on its way so we will probably have its data by 0Z runs.

Euro will probably maintain the same track philosophy but be shifted north. Its really hauling ass between 72 and 96 hrs

This looks ominous for the Carolinas, even if it misses to the east the Outer Banks will be obliterated by storm surge alone.

No troughs anywhere even in sight to sling this OTS, if it misses to the east it will be a slow, arduous crawl at best.
Steadily strengthening through the run and on a bee line so far
