that stall/slow motion has shown on the GFS/Euro too, just in different places, GFS has been looping back offshore, Euro has hinted at a stall or very slow motion up the coast

This Euro run is yikes thru 120 HR. Florence looks even further south w/ a 597dm ridge building overhead, that usually doesn't end well.

Just seems like everything keeps slipping further SW each run

went from the eye is over Bermuda to now its way SW for example

This isn't too far from the ukmet

This is one of the worst times to have a near record breaking ridge in the western Atlantic.

definitely SW of prior runs which recurved over Eastern NC/OBX

this run is basically Hugo II, maybe a hair east...

Yes it was, the big difference is the upper level trough near the Gulf coast.

if I recall with Hugo it kind of got drawn more west by that trough

on the satellite images you can see it tilted that way

but that's literally the only difference I see
