Looks good on paper. Lets see if it pushes it back when it gets near the 120 mark. Have a feeling it will as that has been the trend.

So there is support for the system for sure with the EURO...timing differences with things will work themselves out either good or bad. lets see what the DOC says. I think this system could produce more board wide. GFS was close to that.

This energy looks like it goes Miller B-esque which is why there isn't as much to the west of east GA and the Carolinas.

Weak lows but tons of WSW and SW flow aloft...this screams more QPF than actually depicted...
Yeah GFS has no clue. It’s pretty sad to watch knowing how much money they spent on such a shít model

Absolutely, The fact the jet is so close the model has a hard time depicting the amount of flow from the Gulf.

Well this is about as pure of a wintry mix event as you can get for many people in NC ... for RAH we get more than a quarter of an inch of ice on top of some inches of snow and sleet .. geez
Dang this is coming into a range where some broad agreement is starting to happen, the chances of something happening is increasing with this 
Now the model that has been warm most of this week is flipped back to its usual cold bias.

I was thinking the same thing. The last time this happened, all of the models went off the rails. It's much closer in now, so it's a legitimate threat. Now to nail down the timing of the cold, then we can start to look at the s/w energy. Baby steps, but it's getting closer.
Looks like the CMC is gonna have snow for the Carolinas or NC at least, ice elsewhere

Yeah I was just thinking that the CMC looks eerily similar to the GFS/Euro for the 12z.
