If we can get the super vortex to relax and get a wave to drop into the SW, I'll get excited in a hurry.
We need to set expectations really low and remember these often dry up as we move forward in time .
I’d be tickled to death with 1-2 inches followed by plummeting temps

Considering I got a 3 inch snow out of an anafront last year, I’ll take my chances.
Not quite, a weak wave formed along the front and that was key to the accumulations SE of BHM.
That is what we need or better.
