Like @griteater has been saying...west to east as opposed to plunging straight down to the S or SE. Beautiful. Really couldn't ask for better.
Lol. Temps below zero in the morning followed by 10 inches of snow.20 degree wedge View attachment 163379View attachment 163380
Reminds me 2014, I’ve never seen the models as locked in as they were for that storm. Thankfully a lot of it was sleet instead for the CAE area.Crazy how consistent the models are with these nuclear freezing rain totals.
Did Feb 2014 show something similar to this this far out?Crazy how consistent the models are with these nuclear freezing rain totals.
Correct...I think just sleet/snow.I know this is being lame but looks like that includes all mixed precip if I had to guess
Hey Mitch, I love your vids on YouTube...Crazy how consistent the models are with these nuclear freezing rain totals.
It did happen in 2002 if I remember correctly. I hope I never see it again.I don't see how we get freezing rain with temps in the teens. No way....
Are you being genuine or do you think this is coming north? lol. I can see some north trends with the precip shield, but I don't see how we could wind up with a surface low tracking inland here.GEFS is incredible for a significant southern winter storm! This is how you wanna trend it at this length away. Sheesh I gotta move back home real quick!
Thank you!Hey Mitch, I love your vids on YouTube...
I know this is banter but hey Mitch your youtube videos is awesome and i’m a new subscriber. Keep up the good work I know i’m not in your state but i’m showing the love on your channel from AlabamaCrazy how consistent the models are with these nuclear freezing rain totals.
You'll need a nuclear generator if this pans out.Crazy how consistent the models are with these nuclear freezing rain totals.
We did get something close during the 2002 ice storm. But I agree, much more sleet would be realized, along with a stronger CAD. There's even some supported high pressure to the north. But a long way to go with this one.I don't see how we get freezing rain with temps in the teens. No way....
I didn't have that on my bingo card for the 12z runs. Holy smokes... This just keeps getting better.
