I'm on my phone But it was wetter and farther West with precip compared to 06z. For whatever that's worth.
Worst time of day with regards to solar radiation right now, but that’ll improve over the next couple hours. I know people like to poo poo this as a factor, but it absolutely is with light rates and more so when the temperature is closer to freezing.
NC is going to end up in a good spot with regards to diurnal timing once again. It seems like nearly every storm I can remember rolls in here near dark. This isn’t actually always true, but it’s surprisingly common for some reason. Probably just luck of the draw.
The sun is actually out a little bit IMBY.

My useless snow forecast for NC for what it’s worth:
Chapel Hill / Durham: 1-2”
Raleigh: 1-3”
Greenville, NC: 3-6”
Charlotte: 1-2” (probably more like T-1” at the airport)
Greensboro: T-1”
I usually am too high with these because I’m a weenie.

My final guess for this event. Big change from this morning are the increased amounts near the coast and in South Carolina, especially from around Columbia & points east.

I don't know if this has to do with anything but my temp has slowly started to drop after peaking at 28.4
Live in Fort Mill, SC but part time with the better half in Augusta, GA. We have officially "broken the seal" LFG (Augusta)
