Its gotten significantly smaller pretty fast it seems. I am intrigued to see how this plays out now. I haven't seen any flurries(what few there were) since my last post in midtown, quiet and calm at the moment.Starting to the radar circle around FFC kinda shrink. Wonder if we’re close to seeing some ground truth in North Georgia

3-5 inches. So right in the expected range. But areas to the south are busy overperforming. What was your forecast

No, whatever precip we get is going to be snow. The only problem is early accumulation may evaporateI could be wrong but does it really matter since temps are a complete non issue
Is that the huntsville radar?View attachment 166344
If I am setting at 8 dew points under this and just aint getting to me... I aint getting snow today haha
Just did. Everyone south of Harnett, Moore and Johnston is now under a WSW.Do you think more counties get added to this along US-1? Or is this where they think the best chance is to reach WSW criteria or above that could occur?
I'll l;et you know if and/or when it verifies here.Come on baby. I’m pretty saturated over here. View attachment 166340

Yes better image of actually banding for my areaIs that the huntsville radar?
Even if it's not snowing now, I'm watching the dry air collapse on the radar. The more of this we get the better. Moisture is surging N in west Alabama currently too so we're only getting started.Just clouds under this band. Saw mping for snow near Woodstock but have to question it seriouslyView attachment 166353
I was at Chipotle on 92 about half an hour ago and swear I saw a flake out the window but when I got to my car, nothing. I live 2 miles due east of DT Woodstock and nothing here either.Just clouds under this band. Saw mping for snow near Woodstock but have to question it seriously
Absolutely!! I missed to the south last event.. if I miss to the north this time.. we talking 1 county!!! Each time!! I believe I will have a meltdown!!Been tracking this storm obsessively for 10 days. It's one hour before it "starts" here. And I don't have the slightest freakin clue if it's going to actually snow here or not. This is maddening.
Only saying 1 inch or less in CAE just north of I20. They refuse to acknowledge we may get more. Why is the NWS still only projecting less than an inch for the triangle on tv rn? I feel like they should project 1-3…

Your right parts of ATL/West Georgia aren't dead yet but your really gonna need to continue to have dew raise and moisture/QPF to really build back into AL and help thatEven if it's not snowing now, I'm watching the dry air collapse on the radar. They are usually slow on the gas with anything. I just don't see them being in the ballpark on this one.Only saying 1 inch or less in CAE just north of I20. They refuse to acknowledge we may get more.
You have to use the radar site closest to you….View attachment 166344
