It's rare I know, but on occasion with some blocking we get that elusive south trend.....it's happened

We are in weird times to start off 2021 already. We have the icon and euro trending better for winter weather around here and the gfs and Canadian not so much. Weird times!

I may have missed something. Other than the GFS para I didn’t see much else. Granted the Euro had a couple of promising tracks and a nice gulf low but too warm for most of us. Granted could be a moot point by 12z!

This should be interesting.
Looks to be I-85 paste job for the NW piedmont and mountains.
1040-1046 is a tad better than 1026 or whatever that mess was yesterday.
Hope it presses south in subsequent runs.

That was an impressive run. We may be on the outside looking in but it would be nice to see atleast parts of the viewing area get a nice event.
