Well if the features were looking at (50/50 & cataclysmic -NAO) can’t bring us cold then we should hang it up
Yeah one difference im really liking is the big 50/50 low signal
I’ll call it. Gonna see a big nor’easter between January 21 and the first week of February. Pattern is ripe. I’m hoping it’s a classic setup with the Carolinas in the birther region ??

It will be something totally different next run always is
Cross polar flow is our benchmark, vodka delivery method varies, Arctic HP central plains on a southern trajectory or locked in to SE Canada with a 50/50 displaced just south of classic position. PV lobe will also work absent NE HP, Cuba solution.

Wasn't expecting to see cutters in that time frame because it looked like supression may have been a concern. Should have known better. A lot more winter to go.
Money 
I think the 17th-20th look the most interesting for a more widespread hit of winter weather for people who live in the S and SE. From looking at the models this seems like the time where things can come together well. Storms have passed us and brought in some cold air with and active storm pattern I see a low spitting out into one of these air masses that leave us cold

50/50 low cutting off is going to make this an I-40 northward event, but definitely a step in the right direction!

Not a bad run at all. Just have to watch and hope it doesn't flatten too much or tilt poorly. If that happens we won't be cold enough as the temps will be too warm ahead again or too dry.
