Important to note too especially for the weekend event, the GFS is the absolute worst with CAD events. At this range the Canadian and Euro are the way to go then the NAM once in range.

With each run you can see the cold and snow/ice trend south another 20 miles or so. I really think this one has legs. If we keep the CAD it will likely keep getting colder at the surface and with temps already right at or just above freezing, it’s really not that marginal (if it keeps trending with the CAD)
