We’re getting some bigger heavier snow now. Still some sleet mixing though. Probably the hardest it’s snowed the entire event.

Very light sleet now in Madison. It's dwindled down to almost nothing, even though the radar shows dark bands of precipitation. We had about 90 minutes of good snow this morning, but the rest has been all sleet today. Maybe 1/2" on my car. At least the roofs are white, even if it's almost all sleet.

Same, radar looks great. But very little ground truth. That being said can't complain at least we got 0.5" of snow this morning. All sleet/freezing rain last few hours though

13.1 degrees and snow still falling. It’s basically been snowing non stop since 7pm last night. One of the longest duration snow events I’ve seen since moving here in 2006.

Still snowing. The state of Tennessee has done a great job of keeping the major highways cleared for the most part. Getting closer to Chattanooga.

We basically went to white rain down here for a while but the better rates recently have given me a total of a slushy inch now. The darker green returns have not quite gotten here yet....

Same doofus from the last storm currently reporting snow in Woodstock, where it’s 54 degrees. ?
Even though it is not going to snow, days like today are pretty cool. Its 51 at my jobsite in Acworth and 39 at home. These fronts and the geography are fascinating.

It really is. We have a full proof cold weather shield in place. I’m interested to see if if actually moves when it is supposed to. I feel like it’s actually gone north some today.

So true. I live in the far NW county in GA on top of Lookout Mountain and all we have gotten is a little sleet and a lot of rain. Very happy for the ones that scored though! We should have more opportunities in the coming weeks. Models did a great job for my area as I was always on the cusp.

I've just hit 57F here in northeast Cobb, 7 degrees above forecast. I see no reason why we can't hit 10 or 15 above forecast, or why the ridge isn't strong enough to hold through tomorrow.

We keep mixing back and forth with sleet. It’s killing our snow totals but we have several crunchy layers in between the snow. Should freeze solid tonight.
