I’m right at the Guilford/Rockingham line. HRRR has me at 6” by mid Monday morning. I’d take a third of that. I’ve been burnt by cold chasing moisture before.

Well, that run was better for those in the west and still a decent deform band for those east of the mountains to allow many of us to see some flakes. NE Virginia look nice!
This could trend to a big time paste job for NC mtns. It seems like 6-8” is the ceiling right now, can we go higher?

This has a northeast AL bomb look if I’ve ever seen one!!
There just looks to be so many strong dynamics at play here.
Sheesh we still get a wicked deform band for a lot east of the mountains.. that’s are saving grace as it kind of always has .. will be very fun to track they are so dynamic

With these Trends I think tomorrow even the upstate will be in the ballgame. The dynamics of this thing is insane

This is gonna be our best bet, even with this thing trending north, the overall upper level low tracking on US then exiting to our east allows a dry slot to form and some occlusion with the H5 ULL, and a deformation axis to form, that’s pretty much the only hope we have with this system, soundings under it look real clean (northeast of CLT on mby) 
Don’t see how we get away from this deform band let’s see what tomorrows HRRR runs show
