Maybe that one SREF member was onto something the other day lol^^Same model also had colder surface temps with some initial freezing rain.

If I'm correct he is even below 85. The upstate is so confusing the way its split up. I'm in the NW corner 4 miles South of 11 and I'd be really surprised if I don't see flakes falling from this. They are like Asheville and a whole different climo. And 3% of Greenville residents live there. Jimmy won’t see a flake
Facts! Now if we can get a south jog of about 100 miles that could bring some of the mountains in play up my way. But the trend has def been just the opposite of that. Seen it 100 times the low zips through and cold rushes in behind it with zero moisture left.I can tell you from experience, SC Upstate won’t get a flake with that look! Only time I’ve seen changeover to snow work is March 1,09! And that bowling ball came from Canada with its own cold
Possibly Landrum and blacksburg...possiblyI'd be willing to bet North of Hwy 11 sees snow falling

Even hwy 11 north in Oconee and pickens I'd bet sees Flakes. You ride to top of Sassafras Monday morning and you tell me what's it's doing, even anywhere around Rocky bottom for that matter.Possibly Landrum and blacksburg...possibly
Flat Rock to Hendersonville. We wouldn’t have to drive far ?
I will if I drive up to the Flat Rock PlayhouseThey are like Asheville and a whole different climo. And 3% of Greenville residents live there. Jimmy won’t see a flake
Landrum is always a safe SC bet with a marginal setupPossibly Landrum and blacksburg...possibly
Travelers Rest.Landrum is always a safe SC bet with a marginal setup
And the cold is lagging behind with it. Believe I want to see it as bad as anyone and we have tomorrow for minor changes. But the more amped this thing gets with the low track the less likely I am to see a flake here. But the last couple runs has slowed it down some.

I’m off next weekend, and I’m taking the family up to Cataloochee. Perfect timing with the pattern changeGonna be a great week up skiing up on Sugar/Beech. Wish I could go! I’m itching!
Love it. Great place to spend a winter weekend. Love Maggie valley. Cataloochee will do just fine this week.I’m off next weekend, and I’m taking the family up to Cataloochee. Perfect timing with the pattern change
You might wanna consider taking care of the staff and the mods. ?I have 2 spare bedrooms going to the highest bids. We will cover the floor in air mattresses if we have too. ??
We go there at least twice a winter and once during the summer. My favorite storm to experience up there was the December 18, 2009 storm. We got up there the evening before it hit, and the next day and night just got absolutely plastered. Maggie Valley kept full snow cover that winter from that storm into the first week of MarchLove it. Great place to spend a winter weekend. Love Maggie valley. Cataloochee will do just fine this week.
Sure up 178 just like 107 will likely have a change over. That's a huge elevation difference more than 2500ft above where most folks live. That's why I'm going up 107 toward Cashiers to see it. The northern mountains of the upstate have a chance but the upstate not the mountains right now does not imoEven hwy 11 north in Oconee and pickens I'd bet sees Flakes. That's the reason I've always said 85 and below shouldn't even be considered the upstate. Only North of 85 should be considered upstate.Sure up 178 just like 107 will likely have a change over.
