I can tell you from experience, SC Upstate won’t get a flake with that look! Only time I’ve seen changeover to snow work is March 1,09! And that bowling ball came from Canada with its own cold

Yeah. Yesterday they weren’t getting the best trends while NC was getting great trends. Hopefully we can start getting some better trends tomorrow like they did today

Wxfro and I were having a conversation about this but what happened to the NAM?! It has not been great last few storms in these parts
Just kinda wondering why hasn’t any of the Local office haven’t pulled a trigger on a advisory or something.

Just wait till you guys start seeing a trend that takes the low more south. Many will be shocked.
Almost a late Gulf low and by definition would make a Miller A. Primary surface Atlanta to Columbia and off around ILM.

they don't believe it will verify..and how warm the ground is is their saving grace...but it will be interesting

Still flurries here with nothing on radar. It's so cold too this would be a slam dunk snowstorm if there was more moisture

SREF plumes went double to nearly 2 inches.
This is gonna look beautiful on satellite imagery, absolutely beautiful mid latitude cyclone 
Haha you think we have a supple shortage now... wait till models doe what you say in then news channels starting hitting the panic button in less then 24 hours from the event geez!!!!

With Monday an office holiday, looks like I’ll be chasing north up US-501 into VA
Forecasters are going to be late in the game, we are all fixed on snow but this will put a ban hammer down underneath of it, and off the coast indicative of storm warnings already up, offshore SAV north.
Dang Nam. Lol
We have one more day of stress, fear, weenieism, and possible NW trends, this one is far from over

Yeah here in Northern upstate it's 70° at 10pm with winds gusting to 20mph at times.

Natural baroclinic zone starting to flex off the NC coast, this will go down as a long storm in duration with respect to impacts, it already has. Zone is important as this should be close to the surface track, and just noting that here.

Although we’re now so close to game time it seems consistently it’s been trending NW and amped on every run for a while now .. one has to wonder if there’s going to be some sort of last minute correction but that might be too late to hope for at this point .. regardless many of us will see our first winter weather of the season Monday so that’s a good thing And it hopefully will continue the streak if always having at least some snow recorded every year for Raleigh and even Charlotte #nevercompletelyshutout
