Unless there is a burst this afternoon, I doubt Sandy Springs has any accumulation. My roof and outdoor furniture is white, but that’s it. However, it’s better than nothing.

I have accumulation on the ground, but can't be more than .3 or so inches. The temps are definitely hindering things. Let's see how the rest of the day unfolds.

Tomorrow looks like an all day snow event for Tennessee/NC mtns with upslope. Good day to visit Blowing Rock if you prefer snow falling in the air.

It's 31.1 at my location and those tree limbs are starting to get glazed over with a good coating of ice and the wind is increasing rapidly. The wind increase reminds me of what happens when you have an incoming tropical system. Let's hope that surface temperature gets above 32.0 before the trees get too coated with ice and the wind makes things worse.

Yeah so far, this whole thing is very convective/showery. 5 minutes, I'm under a mod-heavy snow shower, next, just light snow then another heavy mod-heavy snow shower. It's been like this for the last hour and a half. The rates just aren't consistent.

Yeah… that ULL is definitely still moving due east. It was forecasted cut before it reaches the AL/GA line and be further north when it did. I don’t think it going up the mountains

So we finally have flurries. Better than a sharp poke in the eye I suppose. 850's are obviously crashing with CAA ongoing because the temp is dropping with very light precip. Currently at 35.1

I need these heavier snow returns near Fayetteville to hold or strengthen in intensity as it pivots north. We need a really good burst of heavy snow to accumulate on this wet brown ground over here.?

Just got back from a 45-minute Jeb Walk. Pretty fun, though sleet is nowhere near as fun as snow to walk in lol. The roads looked pretty knarly on my walk, even US15-501. Still don’t see any evidence of freezing rain yet here. IP overperforming as I expected.

West Paulding sitting on close to a slushy inch but looks like heavy returns over next couple of hours and the battle of stick vs melt is finally starting to slant toward sticking and big ole flakes are falling may get 2 to 3 max inches by end of day?

Yea it accumulates when we get a burst, but then it lightens up to light snow. Hard to get much with that when we have an inch of rain on the ground last night and temps at 33.5
