Pouring snow here. Power has been sketchy since around midnight. At one point it was off over 3 hours. Holding at 33 so far

It hasn't stopped snowing in western side of Athens Georgia, right now the flakes are a little smaller but it still coming down pretty heavily

2.5-3 inches of snowy, sleety, icy, mess near South Park in Charlotte. Freezing rain mixing in now.

It's not 27 degrees at noon very often, still pretty heavy sleet.

ZR seems to be taking over here now and the temp is now 30… definitely more ice noticeable in the trees. Wind starting to pick up

Has tapered off in the north metro a bit. Looks like there are heavy returns to the south but they just disappear as they make their way up here.

Struggling with surface temps in town. Mostly melted off the grassy areas. But no complaints!

Returns are starting to pop again near Montgomery. Hopefully this can pinwheel into ATL later.

The Athens airport (on the east side) says dew point is 35° with temps at 34.

Snow continues to fall pretty heavily on the west side I'm hearing reports that folks on the east side of town are seeing rain

You can see how the banding is rotating over the eastside of the metro. GFS might be onto something...we'll see.
