What is everybody thinking about the tornado threat with this?

It is somewhat worrisome across Alabama that Nate has not been nowhere near hyped as Irma was. The highest wind gust from Irma was 45 mph as shown below. Nate will have much more impacts over Alabama and with higher winds sustained and gusts as fast as it will move through the area.

Latest fix shows it has wobbled 13 miles west of NHC track. Also the faster it speeds up forward the more west it will likely be given the trough will fully catch it at a later time.

Landfall should be west of Mobile

MRX isnt going to issue a Tropical storm product. They claim the cyclone rapidly weakens at state lines. Absurd. Nhc has it a trop storm right over us 7PM SUN

Latest Tropical Storm force wind probabilities from the NHC. The track for this is based off the west shifted 10am advisory, next track update is 4pm which could shift or change this area on the next wind probabilities map issued at 7pm.

A lot of disagreement on whether he is now degrading (indicated by warming clouds) or getting ready for a new period of strengthening with an eye becoming more visible as per the above post. I think it is looking more ragged, which probably means he's at least peaked, but this storm has been tricky. Other opinions?

Well just wanted everyone on here to know that i called the NWS Morristown and basically was disrespected, and they actually made fun of the weather forum and claimed we all sit on here and talk about all the different offices and rant and ramble. I simply asked why they had not issued even a SPS special weather statement or tropical product when NE AL and ALL of N GA to the state lines are update one. They went off on me and told me to leave them alone they had alot of work to do. I refuse to even follow my own local office now knowing they have a NWS meterologist there that RUDE, & very hateful! He even made fun of my job im guessing he saw it on my facebook.

Question is it illegal or wrong for a spotter to call or ask a question on a NWS website? Im very upset. And need you guys opinion on this situation

I just saw a tweet saying that one of the local news channels had a video of a waterspout/tornado coming onshore by the hangout at gulf shores. Wow!
