I would really hate to be in DC. Have a feeling they will get screwed while areas just north and west get hammered.

Oops lol, spell check maybe thought of the summertime drought and almost changed it to sheetly, Lol
I wanna 100% bet if that was the old hrrr, it would have all rain for much of the CAD areas

The High is further south at Hr 30. Also 1 mb stronger at 33.

12km NAM is slowing/amping our wave over the southern high plains w/ each successive run. Downstream s/w ridge is amplifying to its east >> stronger CAD trend should continue

Verbatim the CAD is weaker here in the Carolinas this run but the parent high continues to trend stronger over Ontario & Quebec.
Confluence at H5 is a tad bit stronger as well

Brrrr @ the cold rain! Wish this would just run the interior honestly. We don’t need the mid Atlantic to receive 2 feet before we can even squeeze out a flake in the Carolinas. Wouldn’t be good for us looking down the road.

12z 3km NAM is 1-2F warmer in CAD favored areas of NC. Looks like this is mainly attributable to the delayed onset timing of the precipitation
