This just isn’t upstate sc year. We usually get at least one accumulating snow a year north of 85. I haven’t thrown the towel in yet. But times running out

I've been posting on these boards since the late 90s when TWC had their own forum and their on air Mets would pop in from time to time.

21% of our snow comes in February 19% of it comes in March but marches numbers are scewed by the 1993 blizzard.

Also that snow isn’t going to go anywhere fast at all .. multiple days below freezing .. wow

March is skewed by at least 2 snowstorms in Atlanta. I think March has less snow events than Dec-Feb but when it does snow it's often a big one.

Got a few flakes now, just like 1 or 2, that’s literally been the last 2 days
I said last night and I’ll say it again, this system is not far off from being a widespread accumulating snow for much of NC and northern SC
That's close to being super mega awesome pants crushing historic
I'd say it's January > February > December > March for most of the southeast. March has big dogs on rare occasions but not very often.

Typically when something happens (storm) it’s when the -NAO retrogrades, the weekend system honestly just doesn’t get me, we typically see something when our -NAO retrogrades/decays like this... this look is starting to translate into the medium range ??
