Hello ice storm!
 
Damn can we simply setup a SE Canada TPV/TPV around the eastern part of the lakes ? What’s the tendency with setting them up in the northern plains/west nowadays lol, it would be so much better for the board if it was around SE Canada
 
Looks like a massive ice storm for Central Alabama on the euro finishing off as some snow
 
Well I’m not gonna say our late week storm won’t come back. But having the GFS and Euro trend away from it. I won’t expect it to come back. This pattern is still capable of producing with cold air to the north. But we need one of those big high pressures strategically placed for the south to have a good storm

It’s still 8 days away. Relax.
 
Thankfully the odds of this happening that way is very unlikely. Trends are for the energy into Canada to generally trend SE towards the lakes. But as Ollie said, we need that initial energy In Alaska to dig further southwest and crank the +PNA and get the cold air out ahead of the system like yesterday’s runs
 
Also I will say CAD areas generally didn’t favor that run until the end but in reality that is likely going to be the best place to be to get some kind of wintry weather. A lot has to go right for west of the Apps to get snow or Ice such as that wacky looking run.
