ah!! One of the BEST, or damn near close setups the central and southern portions of the South (I-20 and south) can score a nice snow with followed by an Arctic airmass!! Euro has almost the same setup (synoptically) as this run of the GFS did.

View attachment 68804GFS has actually been pretty consistent with Arctic air spilling into the lower 48 late next week. Where it goes after that is the question I reckon.

That will progress eastward and be fairly close to GFS. Gfs might rush it a bit. But that will push east for sure.

Good news is, we have a TPV in our backyard with this look
