it's just going to cause a freak out when it drops back into the forties during the day it's much better to have 40s continuously until it warms up for good... I like warm so it doesn't really bother me but I also like cold... It's you i'm worried about.

I can’t speak for anyone else but I have a solid 2 feet of para inside of 96 hours snowfall this winter and 1” of actual snowfall.

In all seriousness I don’t think this warmer stuff lasts, I just have a feeling we’re gonna see a pretty big cooldown after this, then some models try to switch us back To a zonal pacific blast after, guess we’ll see

Already got maples and cherries blooming here , even outside raleighs UHI. Here’s one in countryside form a little over a week ago . Bradford’s are about to pop though with this spell.

No way, I got some last 2 weeks even out here . Look you will see some! Just no where near last 2 years though. Things been budding and blooming though last 2 weeks if you took a look at some woods ! Next 2 weeks though will make a difference , not much in the way of frost and freeze chances , oh yeah it’s gonna take off .
Might get a mega frost that ruins everything in 7-10 days

Not necessarily , this stuff is blooming now and we have already had some nights in the low 20s . Think it can handle it! It’s the stuff that’s going to pick up next 3 weeks that would be harmed
DFW is currently at 80*F.

Hopefully the power is restored so they can have the AC on.
Same here with flowers/trees. Virtually no azalea buds and tree buds. In contrast, last 2 “winters” had azalea start blooming in early Feb!
It still looks like midwinter here thank goodness. And zero bugs!
Other then the lack of snow here, this winter has actually been a winter
