Don't have enough data from the icon to really tell. It drops areas with that initial band of precip into the 30s. My guess is there is too much SW flow between 850 and 700 given the setup so most of us have a warm nose and probably never have a snow sounding
Because this looks like trash
I keep on saying this but continue this rainy ass pattern into June ?At least it’s going to bring us some much needed rain ??View attachment 76520

Spring rainfall can only do so much, a few years ago we had a wet spring and early-mid summer, precip shut off in August and it didn't take long for us to enter a major drought

Indeed, once plants start growing, temps go up, and sun angle rises we start nuking the water table and soil moisture

2019, after late July, precip was basically non-existent for the state w/ exception for hurricane Dorian
Not really relevant to Feb but I have my concerns about this summer and precip

Bring it.
Going to be a good week with no CAD rains for the most part this week. 0.3” through Friday on the Euro and GFS. The warmth on the modeling looks like it will verify. A chance at 4 straight days of 60+? I’ll take it. Let’s hit 70 next week.
