Atlantic side did it’s job this run, nicely, but the wave out west didn’t get a good kicker so it looks stuck

This is the kind of pattern where things are much more likely to sneak up on you in the medium range. Best to just recognize the pattern is there & hope for the best when it comes to stochastic synoptic-scale bounces.
This is nice to see. Goal imo is getting as much dumping on the eastern side of the omega block for a valid enough cold source, can worry about the actual S/S wave itself later 
Gefs 3 run trend, after some meh runs last night. Definitely gonna be some hits this run. At H5 looking like it’s gonna be the best run yet but we are about to see 
Another goal would be for us (me included) to just bypass the GFS Op run at range and stick with the GEFS lol
Looks like the first run outa any ens closing something off around maine/ SE Canada

Funny not one has even come close to getting cut off out there all winter. But the one time we get the Atlantic lined up right... fill in the blank!!
Op's got to come in sometime though grit
Yeah within about 6-7 days on the EURO, 4-5 days on the GFSOp's got to come in sometime though grit

I don't see how that's anything other than a boardwide hammer job coming up. Maybe this will be the first night we finally get some good 00z runs. Usually looks like crap on the 00z runs and then the morning brings new life.
Yup. Definitely was gonna be something or something close for the Carolina’s, that cold feed dropping down was legit
GFS run looks better as well already

That first system keeps slowing and amplifying on models lol
Can't wait to see what the 3k and 12k nams do with it
Big ol donut coming out of Canada this run, nice cold feed with it. Also the kicker wave looks better out near the N/W, should propagate east this run
