Not at hr 84, though. But it has its uses. I think it has a tendency to be amped in the LR, however.

Would that jetstreak potentially aid low development that some models suggests as it exits?
I think if anything it could enhance precip rates not sure about the low development

I’m willing to bet there would be some convective type stuff in western sections of this storm

Actually CMC has 3rd best verification score. Way ahead of GFS.
... hmmm IT DID GET THAT UPGRADE THOUGH??? .. in all seriousness though the cmc is just showing us what needs to happen to have this be a bigger deal I’m sure those crazy ensemble members on the euro had similar set ups

CMC is actually doing better than GFS with global skill score in the past year so I wouldn't say it's horrible.
