Maybe the content of their character but definitely not the reliability of their product. I don’t listen to their forecasts anymore.
It doesn't help with their original forecast at all but I think it helps with their latest updates to some extent vs JB, whose daily updates won't do this.

How many recent winters have we needed a good 50/50 to help with winter storms. We finally have that feature consistently so far this winter but with a garbage pacific/arctic pattern. It’s taunting us.
This sure gives me flashbacks to last February, major GOA ridge, strong -PNA, only thing preventing us from a complete torch is that 50/50, and active southern stream
39 for a nighttime low is the new “freezing” around here

It’s fun when all of the Northern Hemisphere’s cold is trapped towards Russia. It really adds another wrinkle to tracking winter storms around here. Makes it much more fun and I actually prefer it this way ?

Looks to be trapped around the new North Pole. Seems reasonable.
