If models can figure out a way to converge the 2 pieces of energy, then the trough can dig more and give us more precip and cold air.

Well, considering the ensembles had me at ZERO 24 hours before I got heavy snow for 6 hours straight last weekend, I’m not going to sweat it just yet lol

Still bombing Eastern NC at this hour. December 2018 the Euro bullseyed me with 30+ inches 96 hours out. I ended up with 2 inches from the storm.

Heres where the Rubber Match starts next Thursday: Actually you can drop back to Wednesday and catch the ukmet on pivotal to capture the Genesis. The Euro doesnt hold back like the GFS, who digs down the California Coast. Canadian in between the Euro & GFS:
