oof wompSeasonal temps is good for me…the overnight lows in the 60’s is the worst and we will get plenty of that from May through Sept.

Good news though is the +EAMT trend might help finally kick the MJO out into the West Pacific later in the month into early January.

This is that look where it’s just mid. It’s not 70s and Bermuda grass but it’s not snowing either. Its extremely mid 
Yep it's not the terrible fenced off SER but it's hard to find any way for it to snow outside of some tiny probably polar pac wave driving SE into the region and a lucky few catching a change over in the deformation band before it loses its cold connection

Some really good trend in modeling tonight. Not exactly where we want it, but the pattern is trending more amplified

The torch has been lit! Only 25-40 degrees below normal for a few days! Normal high is about 35 or so, I believe? Cold any way you slice it

Great trends here from GFS and Canadian. What I’m watching currently: How fast the vort goes negative and whether the bottom of the vort trends SW or not.
Greensboro sitting at -11.2 below normal a quarter of the way into the month of December. Weve never been in the win column by this much before on Dec 7th. Not even close. What a way to kickoff the season.
The day 6-7 time frame is worth keeping an eye out for the favored CAD regions with a 1040+ HP near NY.
