Eh it's not great but that 1051 over the upper Midwest will do the dirty work pushing the front SE and supplying low level cold.  Probably setting up a nice ice storm just before Christmas

Isnt the 18z normally the warmest run? Oz runs hopefully will be better. Just curious if the gefs will be different than the OP run
 
Meanwhile Spann who usually hugs the GFS flipped the script and decided to roll with the euro because it's NOT showing snow showers next week.
 
Eithe way this system screams ice for some one in the southeast

James Spann confuses the heck out of me because several times recently he has said the Euro is more reliable than the GFS yet usually his forecast goes by what the GFS says.
