Yes, just imagine it - people watching forecast models in a weather forum. The mind boggles...hey it will snow when it snows! model watching is just ridiculous! again it will snow/sleet/zr when it does! period!

The German model folded on the 0z suite, yeah this one is probably over...
You ask this question multiple times each winter. You already know the answer. Things have to pretty much come together exactly right in the SE to get a snowstorm. Models are incapable of resolving finer details at long leads — details that make the difference between snow, ice, rain, or nothing. That’s just the way it is.Why are the models so crappy that they can't get a winter storm right here more than 5 days out 99% of the time? So tired of seeing a good storm on the models 7 days out only for it to turn to nothing.
Yes it isIs this one officially

Oh this pattern definitely produced some fruit, albeit they were all rotten and already half eaten by the animals.Darn it guys, I didn't say this when I came back but this system was kind of my way of calling my shot. I intended to come back when the pattern was ripe to bear fruit and I really thought this period was going to get it done. Certainly not over with the pattern, but this storm is dead. We tried.

Didn't yall get a little something off that Jan 2014 event?February 2010 for Charleston area. Hopefully this is the year.
No accumulating snow. Got ice during the January event, and more ice two weeks later in early February.Didn't yall get a little something off that Jan 2014 event?
If I'm not mistaken WxSouth is that clown that had a Tennessee Weather forum that is no longer active. He lives around Morristown and would argue and curse people out if the didn't agree with him. I think he's just a general contractor/handyman that likes weather as a hobby. I might be wrong but I'm 99.9% sure that's him. He used to post on TalkWeather and TennesseeWeather forum but he keeps getting banned from all the forums.WxSouth still talking like there's a chance for this system on Facebook.
Different guy. Robert is from NC around the Shelby area I believe. A quality guy and forecaster. He’s really good with microclimates and CAD.If I'm not mistaken WxSouth is that clown that had a Tennessee Weather forum that is no longer active.
