For non CAD areas. Looks better for NE GA as there is more of a CAD signature.

That's definitely the truth. MBY can't avoid it forever.. at least I got the large pecan limb away from my house at this point.
Also, no massive changes on the FV3 so far.. maybe the Northern parts a bit faster, but nothing to say it's a "dud" yet.

The L track doesn't really look good for much of Georgia anyway outside NE GA. But it does look great for the Carolinas.

Trends for GEFS snow mean for todays 4 runs. What do you think?
Big increase in the mean for Ohio and Indiana.... That can't be good news for the deep south.

It also seems to me a few of the ensembles might be picking up on the secondary stuff.

Deep South likely to strike out, NC west of RDU likely to get snow. I'm confident RDU will be right on the dividing line of precip because it seemingly always is.

Back and forth, back and forth... You get the picture. There is no consistency and no trend. Just a a different solution each time. Let's just hang on for the next several days and see where we settle out, if anyone is still on board.

The mean has been holding steady or increasing w/ every run... Now up to nearly 10" in Charlotte, gotta account for melting, rain, and/or sleet but I'll take it in any case.
When one topic dominates the thread for the December pattern, regardless, its good to split it up in it's own to be able to keep things tidy and to come back and learn a lesson.
