That is generous. Nothing at all is pointing for Wake to make it out with anything above 1-3inch of a snow/sleet mix. Not too mention there is 1.5 of rain after too.

Unfortunately the reality of this event will leave wake with very little If anything on the ground if models are correct.
What models are you seeing? Even the ensemble means look great for Wake westward.

For upstate SC...I would caution and go conservative with 1-3” and lots of mixing. Again, I doubt any extreme icing event due to high rates and temps near 29-32. Not my land area of expertise..but prob warning criteria for 3-5 counties and the rest with advisory level impact. This is an area that needs to watch the nick picky trends more than others who are getting buried every run. Some sig. sleet accumulations could pile up after 1-3” snow.

Yeah this secondary/ULL stuff may be starting to get interesting. With at least 2 of them, and possibly 5, I'm pretty sure it's the ULL and not the main stuff outside of NE GA/Upstate SC/NC.

How about every gfs, fv3, euro run today? Nothing more than 1-4inches in Wake county.

And that’s IF those snow maps are correct which they likely arnt.

That is not what they have showed today. Even the means are more than that.
