ICON looks like .. the GFS ?
I’m no way saying the GFS is right as I’ve seen it cave in mighty ways, but if this was the other way around and the GFS was the only one saying no, I’d be nervous until it did cave.

Think GFS is the only Hydrostatic global which is why it's at odds with the rest all the time.
Icon is a pretty major win. Backside snow showers for everyone

Another big point. The pieces we need to sample are not getting any or very little observational data to put into these models. This weekend into early next week will be crucial as more of those pieces actually come onto the playing field to have more and more data be collected on them. This will impact what the models show us. Again we have not seen the final product yet. We are 6 days out. Things will change. Models are tools not the gospel. Cheers ?

Gfs is much flatter over Alaska. Very similar to 12z euro..
Seems like we may be getting a "middle ground" solution here at 00z between models.

I am in the middle of that northern plume and seeing nothing.
GFS looks very similar to the icon.

GFS caved lol. TPV is no longer separated. now just a matter of what type of cutter we are going to see.

Not buying backside snow east of the apps like the Icon is showing with a low in SE PA but if it happened, I'd take it.
