Is the GFS going to phase with the Baja short wave too?
Gfs is going to bomb it'll be interesting to see how much cold gets in and how far NW it can pull the coastal trough
Notably the ICON did the same thing as well.Is the GFS going to phase with the Baja short wave too?

So the GFS starts out like the previous runs of the EURO/ICON/UK with a more consolidated lobe of TPV before eventually separating. GFS look like it's also going for a phase with the SW in the southwest.
If you want snow the icon and gfs are how you can get there without having to get back to yesterday's gfs runs. Upper trough will generate plenty of snow on the backside of a costal low riding off shore.
Physics are taught in school, I have no clue at this stage what the final solution will be, based on my experience it's a Nuke to quote ILM east of 90W, I like a 40/70 displaced SW of that area, and very strong cyclone, sub 980. Coming out of Sunday should we have a handle on generals but not specifics.
