The GFS is much wetter for midweek than it had been. Looks like just rain for us and a lot, but icy in the CAD area of VA. Timing is also slower, probably because a secondary low forms over the southeast.
We have complainers with this look. Okay 
Day 7 has an unusually good agreement between the GFS and ICON. This one may have legs.
Sheared. But great look all around, deep trough over the entire US lol, Arctic energy diving south from Canada 
This a good model? GFS has gone from isolated showers to thousand year flood in 24 hours 
IS THIS GOOD 
Too suppressed ?
I don’t know man it looks suppressed. I can’t believe people were seriously thinking about sliding their chips to the center on the GFS.

This is why the cpc is basically not using the gfs currently. There is absolutely no continuity with the model currently and it's atrocious in my opinion.

With this type of setup, some folks (primarily west of the mountains, upslope, and maybe just south --> Ga??) may do well.
I inherited a house up in Boone. We're going to start remodeling it. Plan to use it for vacations and maybe some snow chasing events.

Even the less eye candy looking CMC has a great Miller B/CAD look with deep cold left over from the residual trough

This is like a broken record but again the GEFS does not agree with the OP. It blasts the front through here and the majority of us get cold.
