So how many of you have stubborn parents like mine? Mom, 77, dad, 80... I ask my mom tonight if they were gonna stay home, away from crowds? My mom "naw, we went to Walmart today to get his medicine, went to Lowe's to buy some plants, going to 2nd St tomorrow for lunch." They go to 2nd St (local burger and hot dog joint) every Thursday with other relatives, all their age and older.... enjoying life, God love'em!
 
National guard needs to be activated things are getting violent if not in your neighborhood yet it’s coming may wanna stock up on guns etc before sand is poured on to roadways to prevent travel its coming folks and believe me they gotta lot of sand to use after this lack luster winter

Bird man is like all the ppl I've meet over the years if you have nothing to hide then you won't mind me looking, or as long as they keep me safe they can do whatever they want . This is going to take your freedom away ! Yes this is something we have never seen in our life time, but come on now the cdc and fed kinda let this happen travel wasent halted test really never went out.. All that was done was kick the can down the road to save the markets . But guess what s still going to hit the fan. I really don't want uncle Sam watching over me the only thing they do well is absolute control

So what happens long term here? How long do countries and economies stay at a reduced capacity before booting back up? China appears to be starting things back up with manufacturing at normal levels in April, from what I’ve read. What if a new wave starts there again, do they shut it down again or just let it run it’s course? What about globally, any thoughts?

This isn't going to be good. We all know fed will inject money but it's going to hurt
This maybe wrong but nothing looks normal to me

 
I think you use shutdowns like speed bumps, its all about preventing run away infection rates that overwhelm the system, once the system is overwhelmed you still end up with shutdowns usually drastic ones ( see Italy ) and your still losing a lot of people everyday.....so its not so much trying to stop it, we cant do that, but rather about spacing it out the best we can to allow the system to handle the load.
