Well that explains why I spent half my Monday on the chamber pot!
HATE that side effect. You only use this stuff if you sense viral cold/flu comming on correct? Im one of those people whoo never gets sick thankfully. Maybe a sinus flareup once a year when ragweed starts coming on thats it. However the wifey catches everything. Told here about this revelation from others on the board, gonna test it out next opportunity that arises

Take it everyday. Side effects are temporary for most until your body gets use to it. But it still makes me pee a lot so don’t take it right before bed.

Weird, I've taken it some for awhile and never noticed that side effect and I'm using the same kind recommended on this thread.
It's just like any thing else, not going to effect everyone the same plus Jon mentioned a ways back that it had to be the ripened elderberry and basically the quality of the product you purchase.

This mess is everywhere. If yall need to get something at the store, you better go get it in the next week or two. May not even have that long. I tweeted it out, so all my 5 followers will probably beat you to the punch! lol But seriously, the way people react is in panic mode. Go get what you think you need right now.

I went to Walmart earlier today and you could tell they are having a hard time keeping things in stock. There really wasn’t much water left. I mean when do we decide we have enough? At what point do we decide not to go back out? And at what point is it safe to go back out again?

I have 120 bottles of water BUT all I drink is bottled water so they won’t last me very long ??‍♂️

You seem worried. It will spread to every state I think but we shouldn’t panic. Unless you are over 65 and then I would be worried and probably stay home for a while.

Really? I’m in the parking lot of Kroger right now and when I was inside everything was in stock like normal. I guess each community is different. No panic here yet.

Yeah. I don’t know if I would call it “panic mode” here yet but that was by far the least amount of water I’ve ever seen at Walmart. I feel like we’re going to break the panic threshold here at some point. I’ve already got a pantry full and a medicine stockpile so my household is good to ride this thing out for 60+ days if we need to.

You always say I seem worried. I have a special needs kid with heart issues and older parents. That worries me. But I'm mostly worried about everyone reacting at once, which is going to happen. Even if you don't think the virus is going to kill you personally, there are still very legitimate things to be concerned about. People panicking, which is GOING to happen. Loved ones who have health issues and/or are older. Healthcare systems becoming overwhelmed. I don't think we're all going to die, but those other things are legitimate concerns. I'm not sure how you can argue otherwise, honestly.

here some things I’ve been noticing when working part time at food lion, there out of hand sanitizer, there’s been several large orders of ramen/canned goods/dry beans, lots of people wearing masks, that’s what’s going on here

Yea I just don’t think we will get to that point of panic. The rain should help lessen the spread here in the SE and hopefully it warms up once the rain stops. I can see this outbreak really slow down come summer like the flu does. If this outbreak started in October we would be in trouble.

The lady that checked me out at Walmart had a runny nose and was clearly under the weather. She was sanitizing her hands while she was checking me out ??. I sanitized mine and my son’s hands when we left. Then I popped a couple elderberry and Airborne gummies when I got home. True story

Yeah, lots of people in my family have health issues and I don’t like that

Oh I’m not arguing that. You have all the right to be worried sir. I’m talking about the panic you see on Twitter and on here at times. I just feel it wont be as bad as some predict. Maybe that’s wishful thinking but that’s how I feel. I’m concerned especially for the older population. I have grandparents alive that are not in good health.

While this is a serious situation, it's definitely overhyped on this forum.
I don’t think it’s overhyped. Just people chatting and giving thoughts and opinions. Nothing wrong with that. I am not worried for myself and family but my mom and Bro in law I am. So not sure why it’s being called overhyped when most of us know people this could affect. Just like any severe wx. My brother disregarded it till Monday night when his house was hit. Now he takes it seriously.

And I’m sorry to clutter the thread but I will say; even if this thing turns out to be a big nothingburger I have a pantry full of food and a medicine stockpile that I’m going to use regardless. Absolutely nothing wrong with being prepared. Nothing

Exactly, saving yourself some future trips to the grocery store

I have concerns too, especially older parents but you seem mighty certain of the bolded..... I get concerns, but why are you so definite people will panic (which I assume means stores will be "looted") and healthcare system overwhelmed? I guess you truly believe at some point this will dwarf the flu?

Why Bottled water? This isn't going to take down the power or rupture under ground pipes, so why people going ham on the water?

Hand Sanitizer I get...
Only thing I can figure is it's different according to where you live and what your water supply is like?? I have a deep well, if I have to shelter in place for a while, I'll be soaking up the fresh spring water, no bottles needed.
