Class 2 misdemeanor. Also charged for delaying officer because they didn’t want to go back to their car and go home. Glad to see NC enforcing stay at home in the bigger cities.Arresting seems very extreme. A fine would probably make more sense.
Good thing they dont patrol the local Lowes Home and Garden area.Class 2 misdemeanor. Also charged for delaying officer because they didn’t want to go back to their car and go home. Glad to see NC enforcing stay at home in the bigger cities.
Right, Lowe's - packed; Home Depot - packed; grocery stores of every kind - packed; convenient stores/gas stations - packed but yeah let's arrest 4 people praying. OkGood thing they dont patrol the local Lowes Home and Garden area.
Lowe’s has good lawyers individuals prob don’t.Good thing they dont patrol the local Lowes Home and Garden area.
Probably the heavy pollen weighing down the virus and preventing airborne transmission lol. Like heavy dew point air. Think this has a thin fatty membrane that is fragile, succeptible to being comprised, punctures by the least little thing like hand washing. It's amazing (in a bad way) that the number of cases is so close together in NC and SC. Ratio wise, SC technically has more...
They got the the greatest lawyer of all time, who intercedes on their behalf to the ultimate Judge, one with final say. Doubt their to concerned with their situation instead being focused on the most defensless.Lowe’s has good lawyers individuals prob don’t.
With everything pretty much shut down, i wonder where all these new cases are coming from. Im guessing these new cases are from people infected weeks ago before measures were put in place.
Hmm. I thought Trump said peak will be in mid April.
Average of the nation when some states will be dropping , while some will be raising in numbers. Got to give or take a few days , in the big picture of things . I hope he is right because this is becoming ugly .Hmm. I thought Trump said peak will be in mid April.

Louisiana now reporting 239 deaths, up from 185 deaths 24 hours ago. Total cases soaring by over a thousand more in the same timeframe.
Here we go finally 4 people arrested in NC for non-essential travel to Greensboro because they went to pray outside one of the abortion clinics. That is NOT ESSENTIAL travel folks you can pray at home.
Not entirely related to this post but when I saw that nurserys and garden centers were essential I face palmed hard.Right, Lowe's - packed; Home Depot - packed; grocery stores of every kind - packed; convenient stores/gas stations - packed but yeah let's arrest 4 people praying. Ok
Yes, and the problem is the governor and N.O. mayor have been blaming the feds and Trump for not giving them the heads up. But given how much business revenue is generated for Mardi Gras, I have serious doubts they would have gone ahead and shut it down even if they had been told to. Or they would have complained about lost revenues and nobody caring for Louisiana culture or something. The decision to not cancel Mardi Gras was sheer madness.

REPORT: Mardi Gras celebrations may have caused COVID-19 outbreak
With the disease being highly infectious, doctors believe Carnival season may to be the reason New Orleans is the epicenter of the outbreak in the state.www.kalb.com
Farmers Market as well.... ever seen people pick up produce, squeeze it, sniff it and then put it back? Yep, very sanitaryNot entirely related to this post but when I saw that nurserys and garden centers were essential I face palmed hard.
To be fair Google said Americans are searching how to plant their own food at record levels never seen before. So some of this is indeed essential. Not entirely related to this post but when I saw that nurserys and garden centers were essential I face palmed hard.
Yeah the 80 year old lady walking out with 7 tiger lilies and a bag of potting soil isn't really looking to grow fresh oreganoTo be fair Google said Americans are searching how to plant their own food at record levels never seen before. So some of this is indeed essential.

I think most markets are doing pre order curb side pick up. Ours is at leastFarmers Market as well.... ever seen people pick up produce, squeeze it, sniff it and then put it back? Yep, very sanitary
But the US is also BSingI know they have to report it but I wish they'd add an asterisk to the report of the US having double the number of cases than China because we all know that China is bulls*tting with their numbers.
The administration declared a national Public Health Emergency on Jan. 31st, and by the time Mardi Gras began on Feb. 25th the pandemic was leading the news headlines worldwide - just how much of a "heads up" did they want? ?![]()

As part of the order then: “While this virus poses a serious public health threat, the risk to the American public remains low at this time, and we are working to keep this risk low,”
They definitely didn't enact or encourage any measures to help at the time. They said the risk remains low.
Yeah I wasn't knocking the farmers market at all.... a vegetable farm, working the farmers market with my parents is what, not only put me through college, but helped sustain my young family the first 10 years of marriage (with 2 kids). I just think nowadays might have to put a "If you touch it you buy it" sign up there! Lol And I'm with you, support the Farmer's Market, support farmers without them many would not eat.I would suggest everyone check out their local farmers market. Not only is it helping the local economy but I know it's cleaner and safer than the store. I'm the only one that touches your food.
The wording in this is hardly alarming though I think that’s the idea they’re trying to get at here. It’s at that point the federal government (specifically the trump admin) should have issued a nationwide lockdown, and forced states to do the same. Instead, people (esp conservatives) were worried about how much it was being overblown by the media. You left out this part:

For NC Gov said in a press conf peak for our state would be April 20. Based off computer modeling, which as you know changes alot . The models they use dont take in any mitigation factors I beleive, so dates, various metrics do change alot.Well heres a thought......Maybe Trumps words arent the gospel
